A Cheyenne company sees a golden opportunity in Western Africa.

Global Resource Partners Inc. has acquired rights to 1,000 acres of mining property in Western Africa and expanding its operations in the region. The company says the acquisition will allow it to solidify its position as a market leader and innovator for gold mining in Western Africa.

The company says it is working closely with governments and leaders in the region to help bring better jobs and economic stimulus to the areas of Western Africa, and that it will seek opportunities in the area that will allow the most environmentally friendly and economic sensitive practices and procedures to be used for mining of precious metals.
